“

I also hear stuff like, “And what about Oprah? And what about all those athletes… SEE?!” And what you have to do, I guess sometimes people respond emotionally. I don’t. I gotta respond very pragmatically to that.

And I ask them, with the advent of the election of a black president, if you will, did somehow the over representation of African-Americans and Latinos in the criminal justice system go away? Did it even decrease? As a result of the advent of this great historical moment, has there been a change in health disparities? In the poverty index? Do you see what I’m saying? So it’s almost like a nonsensical thing to say to me. Because those institutions that have historically been racist, and biased, and oppressive… continue.

So I finally got around to watching all of Love & Hip Hop...

And I just about died when Stevie J saw the Rolex that Nikko got for Mimi and he said, “But it’s ticking.  Rolexs don’t tick.”  I just about died.  I can only imagine how embarrassed Nikko was.  Then on top of that Stevie bought that car for Mimi and presented it to her at Nikko’s video viewing party.  Chileeeeeeee…I now see why he has so many women staying with him despite his dog-ish way.

My old music teacher told me that by the time I'm 25 I'll be married because I'm pretty...

…if only she knew the struggle taking place just at 23.

Love & Hip Hop Quotes

Benzino gave K. Michelle a diamond necklace…with diamonds.

Girl what?!  Did you or did you not state earlier in the sentence that it was a diamond necklace?

I refuse to give Kanye West anymore of my time or attention. As far as I’m concerned, his new album doesn’t exist.

I slightly agree with this.  I’m just tired of him and the gimmicks.
